December has recently become a pretty rad month for me…I get to celebrate my anniversary, Sage’s birthday, and Christmas! This year for our anniversary Nate whisked me away to Salt Lake for a mini vacation. We stayed at the fabulous Plaza at Temple Square (admittedly, not much to look at on the outside but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, and you can’t beat the location) , ate at PF Changs (I could eat lettuce wraps every day of my life), went to see the lights (I was a little disappointed this year they didn’t do my tree and there was no snow). We shopped (my husband loves me so much and spoils me), spent time in the hot tub, and planned to go to snowbird (so for the second year in a row snow bird eluded us. Last year by 5000 high schoolers from California…this year by 56 degree weather and down pouring rain.) Even with the rain life was good good good. It is pretty fun being married to your best friend. After our anniversary we went back to work for a week then headed out to Colorado for Christmas. It was so fun to see everyone…even if we did get beat in the V/ Ranch Annual Skeet Shoot…we had better practice up for next year. We may have gotten killed in the tourney, but we scored where it counted…Nate shot his first bobcat this year! We saw it harassing lambs in the coral and he got it with the shotgun. It was awesome! Pictures to come. Did I mention that mom bought this hilarious game called Things to play while we were home. It is hilarious and you should all go out and buy it asap. We laughed until we cried...We are very blessed.
We love you all-Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Scored where it counted, eh Nelsons? Did you? Did you really?
